Give thanks in all circumstances... Quite a tough thing to do when things aren't really in place... Wondered how it was possible for me to actually thank God at one of the darkest times in life... And i was reminded of the story about Job... A man of complete integrity, blameless, fear God and stayed away from evil (Job 1:1)... He was tested yet he didn't turn around and curse God.
Even when all His children were taken away from him (Job 1:18-19), he praised God! (Job 1:21)
Its a hard thing to do, to continue to praise God's name when such things happen... But always remember, He is in control over all things... What He takes away, He can give, what He Gives He can take away... Trust in Him in all circumstances coz He is a faithful God!
During my QT 1-2 days back, God spoke to me... "it is at the darkest times in your life that you can see me at work in your life, carrying you through the storm" Always remember, He is there for us when we are sad, lonely, depressed, happy, cheerful, disappointed... and all the time, ever waiting for us to call on His name and turn back to Him!
