Who am i now
Am i still the same
Seems like i've changed
What do you do
At every moment as i think of you
All the things which used to be
Every memory which never belonged
Nothing but regrets are all i face somehow
Do you remember way before then
When even my eyes seemed to glow
Now all thats left are those eyes
Filled with nothing but remorse
Where am i now
Still in that very stance since we turned away
Dazed through each mid day thats where i am
Soon i'll be left alone
Left far behind in this state of anguish

The fact that i can't move on
Trying to let go is all i can do
I've said no for a reason
Simple as a means to show
What i've always said
Which has been nothing less than true

Looking at the gleeful faces around me
Wasn't of any help at all
I wondered, what was it that made them smile?
I've tried to fight it
Denied all pessimism to the best that i could
